Beautifully shaped and reflective, I've hand painted and distressed this vase for a mercury glass look. The paint used on this vase and all of my mercury glass pieces is not just ordinary silver paint, but a special paint that gives a beautiful, reflective, mirror-like finish. The hand distressing then gives this and each piece its unique, aged mercury glass look. I then seal it inside with a water-resistant sealer for use with flowers.
This vase is beautiful with flowers, or with candlelight that shines through the distressed areas. It also looks great by itself, or in groupings of other mercury glass pieces.
