Shop Setup

How do I set up a shop?
Apply to open up a shop.

Are there guidelines to follow when opening a shop?

  1. Brands must be independent and have no affiliation with a larger corporation.
  2. All items within a shop must be unique and made with the utmost quality and care.
  3. All product photography must maintain a professional look & feel. PinkLion reserves the right to remove a product from front-end display if product photography is unclear, cluttered, does not display the whole product, or is generally below acceptable visual standards.
  4. A shop must have a minimum of (4) in-stock items at all times.
  5. Product images can not contain watermarks of any kind.
  6. Shop banners must be a minimum of 940 x 240 pixels. Shop logos must be a minimum of 200 x 200 pixels.

PinkLion reserves the right to remove a shop and/or its products from front-end display at any time if these criteria are not met and upheld.

I'm selling from overseas. Does PinkLion process transactions using different currencies?
Yes. PinkLion is set up to handle transactions using the British Pound Sterling, the Canadian Dollar, the Euro and the United States Dollar. Artisans can select the currency of their preference in their Shop Settings within the 'Payment Options' section. So, for sellers who select a currency different than USD with which to receive payment, product prices will be automatically converted to the appropriate selected currency of your choice when the funds are transferred to your account.

Can I list products in different currency?
PinkLion is equipped to handle multiple currencies at the transaction point, but all products listed on PinkLion display in USD.

What are product TAGS?
Product tags are ways of classifying certain products to make them easier and quicker to find. For instance, a painting may be tagged 'PAINT', 'ART', and 'RED'. So, when a visitor comes to the site looking for a unique painting in red, one of these terms will instantly trigger the population of the painting because of its specific tags.
