This is a pretty little pendant showcasing a newly discovered stone called K2 Stone. The K2 stone is afghanite in granite. This is an extremely rare stone which takes its name from where it is found, Afghanistan. It is also found in the foothills of the worlds second highest mountain, Mount K2 in Pakistan, which is why it is also sometimes known as K2 Stone. Some people falsely call it azurite. This pendant is set in sterling silver.
