▽ This pendant is made of only natural fibres that have been dyed with natural plants to obtain the range of colours. It has various silks, lace, wool and tulle. Glass and cooper beading. Bronze chain.

▽ Dye used was Logwood chips

The heartwood of the logwood tree yields deep, rich red purples to orchid blues to grey lavender. It grows in Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana and India. Known as the “spiny tree” by the Aztecs because of its thorny, contorted trunk, which they used as a weapon.

Natural dyes give us beauty from life that surround us. Using a unique dying process, I achieve rich, beautiful and colourfast colours that complement any mood.

▽ Keep in mind that these lively dyes may fade gently over time, please do not expose to direct sunlight for extensive periods of time and wash in lukewarm water using a mild and natural soap to remove any stains.
