Queen size Rustic headboard with reclaimed lumber:
Like so many of the pieces I've made, this head board happened because I had the wood in my shop and I felt the need to do something special with it.
The Red wood you see in the headboard is called African Padauk, it's what I had left over from building a dresser you can see in my Etsy store.
I really can't think of a better combination to go with the reclaimed lumber.
