I love the country side, the mountains and, especially, the ocean. I am fascinated by history and am especially spellbound by the 1900-1950s. I do try to incorporate some of the romance of this era in to my Edwardian inspired tams.
My upcycled tams are made mostly from cotton, wool or cashmere and my handmade beads are created from used books. By using reclaimed materials, I am not creating demand for new production, thus reducing our carbon footprint and not contributing to the cruelty of animals.
I am "helped" throughout the day by my three dogs, five cats, four aquatic turtles, parrot and rabbit. Even while my husband and kids are away during the day, this little shop is never a lonely place.
