Organic good stuff is used to handcraft NOSE BUTTER® (smooths and moisturizes dry or crusty noses-great for that crusty build-up you often see), PAW BUTTER™ (supports and protects rough, weather-beaten paws) and ELBOW BUTTER™ (helps soften elbow calluses). And BOO BOO BUTTER for your dog's discomforts.

We have been sharing our original NOSE BUTTER® since 2003. Some of the most wonderful friends and relationships, ones that I cherish, were made through my dogs. I hope to include you in that group.

THE BLISSFUL DOG STORY

The Blissful Dog offers organic, handcrafted solutions for your dog's problems. NOSE BUTTER® for dry or crusty. cracked noses, PAW BUTTER for rough paws, ELBOW BUTTER BUTTER for elbow calluses and BOO BOO BUTTER for discomforts that need some extra attention.

Every single tube, tin and batch of Nose, Paw, Elbow and Boo Boo Butter is handcrafted individually by me, for your dog, from the finest human quality organic ingredients.

Each oil and butter is chosen for a different property - some have smaller molecules and soak in faster, some have a larger molecule and act as a protective barrier and others have healing properties that help revitalize. Each ingredient was added for a very specific synergystic reason. So Bill Nye! (or Breaking Bad-hehehe)

My husband finds it ironic that I do not cook (at all-ever), but I will tweak and ponder over my various butter recipes in a seemingly never-ending process.

With each batch of butters made, we send all the love in our hearts to you and your dogs. Each order that comes in I say thank you, individually, out loud (really) and each product is sent on its way to you with the intention that you and your dog be thrilled with the results. We are honored that you have trusted us with your dog's health and well-being.

How did it all start, you may be wondering. One day, back in 2003, I rubbed some shea butter onto my winter brutalized Minnesota legs and my French Bulldogs were really curious about what I was doing. I dabbed some on their noses and the next day their noses looked so much better!

The idea popped into my head that they LIKED the shea butter, so why not make something healthy to moisturize their noses with! My EUREKA moment…not quite like discovering the Earth was round or whatever that was Archimedes did…but it worked for ME! NOSE BUTTER® was born!

After sharing my NOSE BUTTER® with dog show Frenchie friends on a small basis for a few years, it occurred to me there are other types of dogs besides French Bulldogs (duh) and I began creating more labels with more breeds depicted. As online shopping became more popular and great places like PinkLion popped up, and The Blissful Dog grew and grew!

Then Boo Boo Butter™ (for owies), Paw Butter™ (do I have to say it? for paws) and Elbow Butter™ were born. Aren't you proud I did not name that one Elbow Grease?

Thus began the tale (tail?) of all the various The Blissful Dog Butters. I hope you will join me for the rest of the story!
