It all started with a nudge from my husband...I finally decided to listen to my husband and get serious about turning what I love to do into some extra income for our family. You see, for years he has been encouraging me to sell my cards and custom scrapbooks, and more recently my coasters and dry erase boards. Finally I tool the plunge and my sister and I got a booth at a local event and lo and behold we actually had quite a few sales. That's when I got more serious and focused on coasters and dry erase boards through the Christmas season. They were selling like hot cakes. So I took the plunge to officially open "Specially Made Designs" online.

When I'm not in my "studio" creating things for my shop, you can find me at church or at some sporting event cheering on one of my kids. Whether it be football, cheerleading, basketball, cross country or track, you'll find me with my camera in hand snapping away and yelling at the same time. Yep, I'm one of those crazy moms. But I'm so darn good at being one of those crazy moms, that I think I'll just stick to what I know.
