In 2012 Stefan Tervoort and Pim Snijdoodt graduated from the University for the Arts Utrecht as Product Designers.
Three days after their graduation they founded Oato. It was created on the premise that two people with different qualities and personality know and can do more than two people with a similar skill set.
Oato. therefore means: One And The Other.
